The bars are constructed from heavy duty galvanised steel which makes it lightweight allowing for a higher payload to be carried. As well as that you can mount rollers, pipe carriers, ladder stops and front wind deflectors. This kit comes with 2 items: the bars themselves and the foot pack which makes them simple to fit. For added security to your bars and unlike most commercial roof bars they come supplied with locks and keys
