Professional Application Strategy
The Anthracite Grey version contains fine metallic-like pigments, so consistent agitation is key to an even color.
Application Steps:
- Preparation: Clean the plastic thoroughly with Novol Plus 780. If the plastic is "oily" or very smooth, a light scuff with a grey abrasive pad is recommended.
- Priming (Optional): For difficult plastics like PP (Polypropylene), apply a thin layer of Novol Plus 700 Adhesion Promoter first.
- Mixing: Shake the can for 2 full minutes.
- Spray Technique: Apply 2 thin layers.
- For Fine Texture: Spray from 20cm with steady, overlapping passes.
- For Heavy Texture: Increase the distance to 30cm and use a lighter, "misting" motion to allow the droplets to dry slightly before hitting the surface.
- Flash-off: Allow 5–10 minutes between coats.
Pro Tip: Anthracite Grey is an excellent choice for restoring "unpainted" plastic flares on SUVs and trucks—it provides a cleaner, more "factory-new" contrast than faded black.
